Message This is what I came up with a while back, in regards to the need for tension rod bushing flexion:

While the ES bushings are not made of rock, they're not that soft either. I'm sure they give some, but I feel better having the adjustables.

As for Nismo's t-rod bushings, it looks like they're just a stiffer version of the stockers:
